Scrap Your Trip Adds 681 Items – Bazzill is Here!!!!!

Entry Filed under: New Items Added

Our beautiful rainbow of Bazzill cardstock is here! It looks so cool sitting in the paper racks – like a kaleidoscope of colors. Our designer, Tiffany, is so excited she can’t stand it! I took a picture of the paper racks – all 16 in a row – and it’s at the bottom of the e-mail. It arrived on Friday – a total of 34 boxes. My 8-year old daughter Lauren was home from school, so I asked her if she wanted to earn some extra money and help me put it away. When she got to the office, she said her price was $2.00 per hour. After an hour or so, she started getting bored (imagine that!), so she started folding boxes. She told me her price was now $4.00 per hour since she was doing two jobs. I told her it didn’t work that way. :-) Lauren, my husband Tony & I worked on putting it away until 9:00 pm Friday night. When we got in the car, I handed Lauren a $10 bill. She said “You don’t have to pay me, Mommy”. I told her I agreed to pay her $2.00 an hour and she had worked about 5 hours. “I know, but you don’t have to pay me. It’s our family business.” I was stunned and so proud of her! We’re obviously doing things right :-) Besides the Bazzill, we have a great selection of unique items this week. Lots of travel, of course. Many of you have been requesting equestrian scrapbook supplies and I’m happy to say we have a selection for you – whether it’s western, rodeo or English riding. Last week we had new baseball and so you don’t think we forgot the girls, this week we have fast pitch softball – including a customizable softball jersey. We also added supplies for cars and driving, whether you’re scrapbooking off-road, racing, your first car or classic cars. Karen Foster has a new Ancestry line and we designed some coordinating SYT cuts. We’ve also received a lot of requests for scrapbooking items so that you can scrapbook your scrapbooking adventures! We have designed the first few of many – keep letting us know the ideas you have. Lastly, we have the new HERMA Repositionable Adhesive in my favorite color – purple! Gotta have glue to stick all these great products together. You’ll notice that we have matched product to both WorldWin and Bazzill cardstock. When we did the cardstock survey several months back, many of you asked us to keep both cardstock companies and we are. Have no fear Colormates lovers! We will be placing the order tomorrow and hope to see it in about 6-7 weeks. Here is the link: http://www.scrapyourtrip.com/bgpreorder.html. I’m doing something really exciting today! Microsoft is having a Small Business Summit, featuring “over 50 of the nation’s top small business experts” and I’m one of them! I’m going to be live via satellite today at about 12:15 Eastern (9:15 Pacific). Here is a link if you’d like to see me gush about scrapbooking and how wonderful my customers are: http://www.microsoft.com/smallbusiness/summit/. If you have an inner entrepreneur just busting to get out, this summit is packed with great info. It’s been going on all week and they are going to post all the interviews online after it’s done so you can catch up. I’m a little nervous and am going to try to remember to smile when I talk – all the other people look so darn serious! As always, thanks for your business! Without you, my wonderful customers, I would have never been able to grow my business to be successful enough to get Microsoft’s attention. I am overflowing with gratitude :-) Julie Swatek, President Scrap Your Trip® www.ScrapYourTrip.com http://blog.scrapyourtrip.com ‘cuz life is a trip worth scrappin’® Bazzill Scrapbooking Cardstock Lauren helping but away the Bazzill cardstock. Oh that Lauren! I think that may be the most awesome thing I’ve read in ages. Values can be taught and you guys are doing a terrific job.

I love Bazzill!!! And, your display looks wonderful! I, too, enjoy your e-mails — it is just like talking to a friend! And, I mentioned that when I voted for you! Keep up the good, no GREAT, work!

LOVE this site – it has to be my favourite! The South Africa pages and die cuts are great! Do you think they could look at doing some additional die cuts – like Table Mountain, cable cars – how about bungi jumping?
Keep up the good work :-)

I wish you had told us yesterday about the summit appearance. I am on the Pacific coast and by time I opened e-mails this morning I was able to see the clsoing shot of you in your awesome red power suit :-) , but never got to hear you speak.
I can wait to get my bazzil samples so I can enjoy all the selections

Really do enjoy getting the newsletters and following the progression of your business—don’t know how I discovered your website but seems as if I started ordering from you when you were “still in the extra bedroom”—and I love the quality of the items each time I order! And now that Bazzill is here—-wow!—-love that paper! Keep up the good work—-the photos of you, your family and coworkers are great!

Now that’s what I would love for my scrapbooking room to look like! Right now I’m working in my oldest daughter’s old bedroom, squeezed in among all the antique furniture and the things she doesn’t want to get rid of but doesn’t want to clutter up her own place with.
    Maybe someday. :-)
