Scrap Your Trip Adds 204 Items + Fancy Pants Pre-Order

Entry Filed under: New Items Added

Happy Adminstrative Professionals Day®! If you work in this field, I hope your boss appreciates you as much as I appreciate my new assistant, Leslie. :-) She’s only been here a little over a week, but she’s getting things organized already. Administrative people fill such an important role in making sure companies run smoothly and I hope everyone gets the recognition they deserve today. Sometimes I feel like I sound like a broken record every week when I talk about the “great new products we have this week”, but it’s always true! I am continually amazed at the level of artistic talent that exists in our industry. (I have to admit, I’m also a little jealous because I can barely draw a straight line)! The artists that create products make it so easy to have beautiful scrapbooks. Our featured collection this week is the “Sea Glass” collection by K&Co. It is a very weathered, natural looking collection with a muted color palette. I just love the album because the front of it is actually wood. We have all the pieces in the collection and we also put together a matching Bazzill pack. We also have a lot of new Jolee’s by You. EK Success really did a great job on these designs. They are back to being the high quality that Jolee’s was in the very beginning. We have several new Paper House papers and die cuts too. (Broken record again)…The SYT Design Room has done a fantastic job, as usual! This week’s focus was on California, Disney, Band/Choir, and Wedding/Anniversary. They are really branching out with all the Bazzill colors they have to work with and Jill made a beautiful pillow with wedding rings that we will customized with your wedding date. She used the shimmery wedding white stripe and the metallic gold paper and it’s gorgeous! We also worked on a lot of product requests this week. Several of the California die cuts were special requests, along with cuts for girlfriends, autism awareness and Red Hat. If you have a specific request, let us know on the blog. Click here to see all 204 new items: http://www.scrapyourtrip.com/42308.html. We also added Fancy Pants Designs as a pre-order this week. They have six new collections and we have them all. I have really enjoyed all these new lines that we have been featuring as pre-orders. It gives me a chance to see some products that we don’t normally see and these papers are so much fun! They made me happy just to look at them. :-) They will be available for pre-order until April 30 and we hope to start shipping by May 14th. Click here to see all the new Fancy Pants: http://www.scrapyourtrip.com/fancypants.html. Today is also the last day for Blue Awning and Mira from K&Co: http://www.scrapyourtrip.com/kacpreorder.html. If there are other companies or lines you would like to see us offer as a pre-order, just let us know on the blog. As always, thanks for your business! Just wanted to share my excitement with the custom-made die cuts I just received. What a fantastic addition for our special endeavors. I am currently creating a scrapbook for my daughter (who is jealous because I have made 3 scrapbooks for my granddaughter and she is only 18 months!) to surprise her for her birthday. I worked special die cuts of her name, her high school and university. I received them yesterday and they are fabulous!!! Great job SYT Design Team and Julie for hiring such talent! Keep up the good work.

As always I am always impressed with Scrap Your Trip and the new items you get. I just love SYT!!! As we are definitely a pet friendly family, I was so excited to see the turtle die cut last month. I have a couple of items that I have been searching for for quite some time with no luck. How about something for a Gecko?? And how about something for a float trip? I am amazed at the number of items for camping and canoeing and such out there but nothing directly related to a float trip. We have an annual float trip that my friends and I take (both of us BIG scrapbookers) and we would love to find something like that.

Again, thanks for all you do at SYT.

    Julie,
As always GREAT JOB! I see all the great products, and I am jealous of all of you who are scrapbooking on a regular basis. I haven’t touched mine in 6 months, life has just gotten in the way. One of these days I will get back to it. However, I do have a request, my husband has taken up road biking, and is involved once a month in riding his bike in 100 mile bike rides. There is so much for mountain biking, if you ever find anything with road biking, I would be most appreciative. Also with the new sayings, if I could ever order special ones for the different Century Bike Rides he does that would be great.
    Thanks again,
    Terri

    Julie,
You do such a wonderful job! I love your site and tell all my scrapbooking friends about it. Since you seem to be able to find things that nobody else can I have a request. It ties into the request above a bit actually. I am in desperate need of some bicycling stuff. All I can ever find is either Mountain Bike or little kids bike stuff or raised materials (I don’t like those, like my books to be Flat). Anyway, my husband and Dad are both really big into cycling and do several road races each summer. I never have any good embelishments to go on those pages so they always seem boring to me. This summer alone they are doing 4 different races. I would be interested in looking at anything you can find that pertains to road biking.

    Thanks,
    Jennifer

Great job on the marching band die cuts. It is very hard to find good marching band products. Can’t wait to order them. Thanks for all you do, Cindi

I love the new music items (band, choir, etc.), but would love to see CONCERT embellishments/paper for rock concerts and the like. Some papers along the lines of DCWV’s Rock Star would be fun. Also, any pet rat die cuts or embellishments out there? Keep up the good work!

I love your site. I was able to find everything I needed for my Europe scrapbook. Thank you. Right now I’m in the process of going through books I made years ago and adding more embellishments and was wondering if you’d consider making colorguard die cuts. The marching band ones are great but I wasn’t in the band I was on the flag team. There are 1,000 that participate in this activity all over the USA. Some drum corps one would be great too! Here are a couple of sites if you don’t know what activity I’m talking about. http://www.wgi.org http://www.dci.org Thanks for all you do!

I would love to be able to get die cut titles and items related to the dog show fancy. Some title ideas would be Best Of Breed (BOB), Best Opposite Sex (BOS), Best Of Winners, Winners Dog, etc. Some examples of shapes/items would be ribbons or rosettes – purple ribbon for Winners, blue for first, red for second, etc. I have friends who scrap and participate in dog shows, and we are unable to find any such items. Thanks for your consideration!

I too love the custom die cuts and have a request. Would it be possible to do some titles for World Youth Day? It is happening in July in Sydney Australia. I know you can’t copy the logo, but even something like: world youth day sydney 2008. You could look at http://www.wyd2008.org to see the shades of red/orange/blue that they use. Thanks for all your work!!

I am a huge fan of your website. My honeymoon album to Italy came out great thanks to you guys. I am looking for any embellishments or anything having t do with adoption. My husband & I are adopting & I want to start creating, via scrapping, a Life Book for my future child. There is so little out there! Anything you guys can find or make would be amazing! Keep up the amazing work!

LOVE the designs your team has made so far. The winner ribbons and rosettes idea above would be great for several things, like my grandaughter’s science project!

Julie – I began scrapbooking after my sons graduated from high school and would love to be able to get die cuts for “Class of” that could be customized with the year. If you could help out, I, and I’m sure a lot of others, would appreciate it! Love your products and great service!

  • 18. Jennifer&hellip  |  April 27th, 2008 at 9:24 am

    Julie-

It is so refreshing to hear a boss that is so enthusiastic about their employees. I was browsing the web to see what was out there and came across your posting on career builder and then referred to your blogs as suggested….the first blog I read is how appreciative you are for your new assistant. I immediately thought what a fantastic boss! Congrats on your find and I wish you many blessings in your business.

  • 19. Judy aka scrapylady&hellip  |  April 28th, 2008 at 5:54 pm

Julie, I so agree with Chris on asking Tami and team to do custom “Class of” die cuts. I am working backwards doing my kids, grandkids and my own lives and for just for my two kids I need 7 different “Class of” years – they took higher education seriously :-) . But please offer them in any of the cardstock colors so we can do appropriate school colors…….

I love your custom die cuts!! Your girls do an awesome job creating. I have both a neice, and a friend, who have donated to Locks of Love and have been unable to find anything to use when scrapbooking their pages. Do you think they could come up with something for that? It is such a worthwhile thing. Thanks!!

I AGREE WITH SHELLY. I TOO HAVE A DAUGHTER THAT DONATED HER HAIR AND IS GETTING READY TO DO IT AGAIN. I WOULD LOVE SOMETHING TO DOCUMENT THIS MOMENT. THANKS
