Scrap Your Trip Adds 240 Items + Prima Pre-Order
Isn’t a child’s memory amazing? They can’t remember they are supposed to brush their teeth every night, but events from years ago (which is a large portion of their lifetime), they remember details just like it was yesterday. This happened the other night with Lauren. All three of the 2nd grade classes at her school put on a play yesterday – "Culture Through The Ages". She wanted to rehearse with us the night before, but had a complete meltdown and cried for over 20 minutes. When I finally got her to calm down enough to tell me why she was so upset, she said "What if the same thing happens that happened when I was in Kindergarten?" At her Kindergarten graduation, she froze up, burst into tears and ran off the stage in the middle of the singing. She cried backstage during the whole thing. I had completely forgotten about it, but it obviously made a huge impression on her. She said she was afraid it would happen again and "it was EMBARASSING!". We had a long talk about it and I’m happy to report that stole the show (not that I’m biased or anything!
. I posted a few pictures below and on the blog.
I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in helping us to raise money for the American Red Cross! There were 262 raffle tickets sold to 166 people. We raised $2620 and adding the $2000 match from Scrap Your Trip, the total donation comes to $4620! I know it’s just a drop in the bucket, but by working together, we made it a much bigger drop. As always, thanks for your business!
