Scrap Your Trip Adds 267 Items + Heidi Grace Pre-Order

Entry Filed under: New Items Added

It has been quite a week in the Swatek household.  My son, Logan, had a fever the night we left for our Utah vacation.  The after hours pediatrics place said it was just a virus, but it turned out to be walking pneumonia.  It has a 1-4 week incubation period and on Sunday, my daughter, had a fever and broke out in a rash all over her face.  You guessed it, she had pneumonia too!  In typical Lauren (8 going on 25) fashion, she wailed, "I can’t POSSIBLY go to summer camp looking like THIS!"  She has quite the flair for the dramatic.  I have no idea where she got it from. :-)

I am so excited to say that our Wishlist is finally live!  It’s been an adventure getting it all programmed (we had to switch programming companies mid-stream – that’s what took so long), but TA! DA!, it’s ready to hold all the items your heart desires.  It will also hold your shipping and billing address, so you don’t have to type it each time (but not your credit card data).  It has an order history, which as of right now, is just the orders that you place after you sign up.  They are working on the programming to pull in your previous order history, so stay tuned!  As of right now, it is just a wish list, a "bucket" to hold items you like.  I can also have a registry feature programmed in (just like a wedding or baby registry), but I don’t know if that is something anyone would be interested in.  I posted a poll below and I’d appreciate any feedback and/or comments.

We have some "magical" new items this week :-)   We have the Magical Memories Collection from Creative Imaginations to highlight those Disney vacations.  Also from Creative Imaginations, we have a new Tropical Collection from Marah Johnson and just for Father’s Day, the "Old Guys Rule" collection.  The SYT Design Team made lots of cute die cuts in celebration of Father’s Day, including a customizable beer mug!  We have the just released L’il Davis Travel Collection, the What’s Cooking? collection from Flair and a Cruise collection from Moxxie (all with matching Bazzill packs, of course!).  We also added all the new products from Memories in Uniform, including the GI Jacket Album.  The fabric is removable so you can sew patches, etc. onto the cover.  Lastly, many of you have been requesting ziplining die cuts.  They’re here!  None of us have ever been ziplining, so I hope we got them right.  I guess I’ll have to take another vacation so I can zip through the canopy so that I know our die cuts are accurate.  See what I’m willing to do for my customers? :-)   Click here to see them all:  http://www.scrapyourtrip.com/61808.html.

We’ve been receiving lots of positive feedback from you on our pre-orders and the fact that we offer the entire collection.  To quote our customer Mary B. "I love the idea of being able to pre-order things.  No one and I mean no one offers the complete line of anything.  Thank you so much."  You’re welcome, Mary.  Glad we can be of service!

We have four Heidi Grace collections for pre-order this week:  A Little Bird’s Tale, Baby, Beyond the Sea and We Are Family. The estimated ship date for these collections is July 14th.  As with all our pre-orders, all orders containing pre-orders will ship together as soon as pre-order items are available. If you need your other items sooner, please place them in a separate order.  Click here to see the Heidi Grace items:  http://www.scrapyourtrip.com/heidigrace.html.  Today is also the last day to order KI Memories.  We hope to receive and start shipping those items by July 2.  Click here to order KI Memories:  http://www.scrapyourtrip.com/kimemories.html.

As always, thanks for your business!

P.S.  There has been an event in my life in the past two weeks that has reminded me of the fragility of life and how we often take things and people for granted.  Just a friendly reminder to hug someone that you love and to remind the people who matter to you how much of a difference they make in your life. :-)

A scrapbooking registry would be awesome for Christmas lists, birthday presents, “just because I amd great” days and other wonderful times when someone just wants to buy me a gift! lol Thank you for all the hard work you do.

I would love to see a registry. My husband does not stay focused on my scrapbooking! But, he knows I like my “scrap crap” as he so lovingly refers to it. Whenever I tell him I want to get something, he says, go ahead and get it. I would love a place where I can accumulate my wants and desires so he can just log on and get them for me!!! He’ll do it, it just has to be easy. He won’t go shopping for it but will get it if it’s easy for him to do. It’s not even practical to think he would walk around a scrap department and shop!! This would be awesome for holiday shopping. Thanks so much!! JoAnne

I agree with Miss Kim and JoAnne said….registries are wonderful tools for husbands/family who don’t have a clue as to what you want/need for our scrapping addictions! Easy for me..easy for them…everyone’s happy!

Love the WishList feature – I am adding stuff to my wishlist now. Thanks.

I agree on the registry – would be great to be able to email it to someone for gift ideas.

    Dear Julie,

The WishList sounds terrific, but how do I find it on your site? I must be missing something……

I love the wishlist and already started adding to mine!! I used to see stuff when you sent out your “what’s new emails” but if I couldn’t purchase it right away I would have to hunt for it later so this is great!

Another enhancement would be to be able to move items from my shopping cart to my wish list. Sometimes my shopping cart exceeds my purchasing budget for the day and I would like to save some things for another day.

Also, instead of the registry, I would love to see gift cards available. I love your site and have a group of scrapbookers I never know what to get for birthdays & holidays and I know there would be hundreds of items they would love on this site! Also, many times people ask for ideas for me and I would love to say a ScrapYourTrip gift card!!

Thanks for all your hard work and providing us with such a great website so far!!

I truly do love your site and your papers. I am definitely having a life trip worth scrapping moment here of late. My 2nd son, at 26 years old, looking for a career change has joined the Navy. In fact, he left last night. And thanks for all of the military paper and embellishments, and all of the patriotic papers… I can cry rivers of “missing him” tears and scrap my heart out!!! THANKS

I love having a wish list! My favorite feature has always been showing me the new items as they come in. I feel I always have time to look and never spend my time searching. BUT… I don’t order until I think I’ve offset the shipping (which is very fair by the way, although free is always good too), so I’m always trying to work from 4, 5 or 6 emails to create one order. The wish list is a perfect answer. Thank You.

I hope you’ll be able to pull up past orders for our history, but that is just an extra that isn’t really important. I pretty much know what I have, but I’ve given a few things away. I couldn’t help it! LOL!

I like the wishlist – sometimes I have just a few minutes to browse through the collection you have and so I just add it to my wishlist and return later to group up an order. I’m not certain what the difference would be between a “wishlist” and a “registery” – they sort of serve the same purpose. But, I do like the wishlist.

    Be safe down there!
