I love that you’re doing this. I ‘adopted’ 2 soldiers earlier this year. I send at least one care package a month & as many letters or cards as I can. Also, I’ve ‘friended’ them on Facebook, so we’re in touch that way, too.

Don’t you just love your iPhone. My husband got me mine for Mother’s Day/Anniversary at the end of May. I have to give credit to AT&T because when the new 32G came out a few weeks later, I took my 16G in and they exchanged it no questions asked since I was still within my 30 day return period. I highly recommend the Expedition to Everest and Sally’s Spa games Great if you have a few hours to waste!

I think this a great idea. My new husband is in the Army and will be deployed to Afganistan in January for 1 year. We have friends deployed right now to Afganistan and Eygpt. I think it is very important to show our support and let them know that we think of all of them. I believe that is very important to try to send a little bit of home to those who are away and bring a smile to their face.

Just wanted to say thanks for recognizing our military. My son is heading back to Iraq in September for his 3rd tour, the day after his daughter is due to be born. He’s 23, a gunner….so this mom appreciates the fact that you are doing this for them.

This is a great idea for you to donate to our military on active duty…my son is currently deployed to Iraq with his family in Germany and my son-in-law is serving in the Middle East with my daughter and their family.
