Scrap Your Trip Free Adhesive Ends Tonight

Entry Filed under: New Items Added

Boy am I ready to go home!  Lani, my Operations Manager, and I have been at internet conferences since last Friday.  First Atlanta and then San Jose.  We have learned SO much about how to make our website better for you.  We’ve been adding features, like the new search and the image enlargement, and we’re committed to continue making shopping at Scrap Your Trip a better experience.   Like all conventions, the food has been horrible.  I hate being held hostage in a convention center with icky food.  Yesterday’s lunch was so bad I threw it away after one bite and ended up just eating a bag of potato chips and a Coke for lunch!  I can’t wait to get home to some real food! But most of all, I can’t wait to get home to my kids.  My 9-year old Lauren has been just fine while I’m gone.  She is so focused on her iPod Touch apps that she can’t think about anything else.  But my little 6-year Logan is a whole different story.  He really misses his Mommy.  Every day, he has been counting down how many days until I get home.  If I don’t get to hug them soon I am going to burst!!!!! Don’t forget, today is the last day to get a free adhesive with your order over $59.  It’s an Easy Fix Removable Adhesive runner from a brand new company to us, TrimCraft.  After you use it, please write a review on our site and let us know what you think! As always, thanks for your business!

    Julie~
You called to ask me about my large order for motorcycle paper. My husband suggested I get in touch with you. We belong to a very large, national organization called the Gold Wing Road Riders Club. It is not a motorcycle club per se but riders who like to go on trips together or just go get dinner or take a nice ride in the mountains of Colorado.
There are lots of things out there for Harley Riders. However, Gold Wings are VERY expensive, rolling “strat-o-loungers” and typically the riders are older, wealthier, more stable, etc. I think you get the picture. There is very little scrapbook material for Gold Wing Riders, and one of the contests at every Rally is the “Historians” book which is a scrapbook! I am the historian for our local chapter, but every chapter has a Historian! Maybe you could sway one of the numerous vendors that you work with to make a niche market for Gold Wing products. I can tell you that if someone came to a rally with Gold Wing Scrapbooking materials, they would make a FORTUNE! Please let me know what you think the possibillities are of this. I personally would be an excellent customer!

I really like SYT; there is a lot of really neat stuff. It’s great to sit in one’s house and go scrapbook shopping. The only problem is the postage, but I understand. It would not be profitable to not charge for S&H. Things ordered do come very prompty and in excellent condition.

Regarding website changes, I would love to be able to see an image of what my custom title die cut would look like as I am building my order. I find it hard to visualize which font would best suit the title – e.g. what would “St. Augustine” look like in Tangerine font? In Fishbowl font? I understand that there’s the risk that someone would “build” a picture of a custom font and then use that image instead of ordering, but perhaps if you used a watermark over the image that would make it viewable but not usable as a printed image.

I also stopped by your offices last month (by previous arrangement with Laurie) on our way to “the shuttle that scrubbed 5 times”. (It lifted off the day after we left…perhaps a more interesting ending for the scrapbook.) I hardly recognized you from your photos since you’ve begun your workout program. Keep reminding us “no-longer-spring-chickens” of your progress as impetus to get off our butts.
