Scrap Your Trip Adds 277 Items + 277 S*A*L*E Items
Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes! I just love birthdays – all sorts of good wishes sent your way!Last year I said that my birthday was the most fun I have ever had on my birthday. But this year blew last year away!
The kids made me presents this year instead of heading to the mall. Lauren, my budding artist, made me a pillow with a drawing of a beach scene on one side and “Happy Birthday Mommy!” on the other. Logan lent his artistic talents to the wooden jewelry box he painted for me. Pink and purple – my favorite colors!
I got to spend the whole day with my new beau. It’s really cool when your birthday is a holiday – no work for either of us. We had a late dinner the night before and then went out dancing until the wee hours in the morning. Then lunch sitting outside at a cute little French restaurant and Mexican and margaritas for dinner.
He bought me a really nice pair of sunglasses for my birthday. He said he knew I wore them all the time and that would make me think of him when I wore them. Aww!
I do believe 43 is going to be a very good year!
Now, on to scrapbook supplies!
This week we have a new vendor – Echo Park Paper. “Sweet Summertime” – it’s fun, it’s sweet, it’s cute – you’re going to love this vendor as much as we do already. The other really great thing about Echo Park is that they are planning on releasing a new collection every month….be on the look-out for more really great, new themed collections by them. We also have a baby line by Little Yellow Bicycle, “Snuggle Bug Boy” and “Snuggle Bug Girl”, “New Mama” and “Cowboy” and “Cowgirl” by Creative Imaginations, and "Amusement Park" by Karen Foster.
One of Tiffany’s favorites this week is “Wild Life” by KI Memories. The diecut paper (zebra stripes outlined in lime green) is (in HER words) “freakin’ adorable.” The papers in this collection are vibrant and the animals are cute and silly and not going to scare anyone. She also loves the different pieces that KI made as part of this collection – especially the journaling tags…..here’s her *TIP* for using these and WHY she loves them so much. She (1)uses the tags in the intended collection, (2)cut’s them in half and uses them as embellishments on her layout, (3)the “look” can be coordinated with other papers that she has to then give them an entirely different look AND (4)since she also makes cards – she incorporates these journaling tags into her cards – WOW!
The SYT Designers have been hard at work, as always – they have brought to you the following awesome designs: Disney, Canada, Germany, Scotland, Africa, Rhode Island, Colorado, Sailing, Hiking, Dance, Cooking, Gardening, Romance, Kids and Retirement. We also have new custom items for you to choose from: Custom Aged to Perfection Die Cut, Custom Lookout Boy 12 x 12 Paper and Custom Lookout Girl 12 x 12 Paper. The Custom Paper idea comes from all of the kids being so excited about “graduating” to the next grade…I’m not so sure that the “next grade” is ready for them!
Our theme park collection this week is going to make all you park goers really happy! We have designed “Around the World,” “On the Lot,” “In the Wild,” and “Fairy Tale Wishes” – there are two papers for each park, creating a double page layout. I know I gush every week about my design team – but I just can’t help it – they ARE amazing!
